Introduced in 1983 with Harley’s FXST the Softail was designed to look like a vintage hard tail motorcycle but is equipped with a triangular swingarm with hidden shocks. Introduced as a 2000 model the FXSTD Softail Deuce was one of Harley’s most radically styled bikes to date. Fitted with a long, sleek tank, a bobbed rear fender and some of the slickest styling touches ever to come from Harley. Despite its show bike appearance the Deuce not only offers great looks but it also has the performance to match. Standard features include a black powder coated 1450cc Twin Cam engine with chrome covers, a chrome front end, chrome pullback handlebars, a full length chrome console and a 17”rear rim with a 160mm tire. This particular example has been loaded with well over $10,000 worth of options and has just 780 original miles. The list of genuine H-D options is quite long and includes the custom 100th Anniversary flamed orange paint set, matching front and rear 6 spoke chrome rims, chrome billet forward controls, the chrome pulley, chrome belt guards, chrome axle covers, matching chrome levers and mirrors, custom grips, billet fuel caps with a LED fuel indicator, Deuce shift linkage, the air horn, a chrome tool box, chrome fork lowers, chrome switch covers and genuine Deuce saddle bags. Other options include matching pegs, brake pedal and mini passenger floorboards as well as the Corbin seat with both driver and passenger backrests. As if that weren’t enough, it also has a custom Stage I air cleaner and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Screamin’ Eagle performance exhaust. As you can see no stone was left unturned. The only thing it needs is someone to ride her. We have priced it as if it were bone stock so if you like what you see time is of the essence!
