According to CarFax and AutoCheck history reports, WP0AB0912GS120603 spent the majority of its life in New England prior to relocating to Texas in late 2019. Ideally equipped from the factory, this Carrera appears to have received years of thoughtful stewardship and preservation to its current presentation.
The exterior displays glossy paint and retains all matching Porsche etched glass supported by supple rubbers, preserved lenses, emblems, seals, and anodized window trim. It appears the exterior received a repaint in years past with largely consistent paint meter readings across the vehicle. Only the very corner tip near the passenger taillamp displays a small amount of filler. The jambs meter as original, with affixed original identification and information decals on the doors, underhood and rear engine bay. Along with proper zinc coatings – which coincide with similar markings and finishes visible throughout the front luggage compartment, engine bay and undercarriage.
A well optioned cabin features original upholstery, such as preserved leather, carpeting, dashboard and plastic adornments. Cold air-conditioning, power windows, mirrors, and sunroof are all in working order. A newer PCCM – Porsche Classic Communication Management radio tastefully complements while adding a bit of modern sound, navigation, and technology to the interior. Alongside triple-black appointments (including the headliner), plush pile carpeting is protected by a set of four black and silver bespoke Coco Mats. An emergency sunroof crank resides in the glove compartment.
The front storage compartment shows further evidence originality, including correct spot-welds, markings, and tagged wiring harness – as well as a jack, tool kit, and space saver wheel. Another custom-tailored Coco Mat matches the interior and is a first of its kind.
The undercarriage is as you might expect from an original, respectfully driven and unmodified car. The consistent finishes continue down the powertrain. Under the rear decklid, the matching numbers 3.2L engine and compartment are in tidy order, benefiting from a recent steam clean and detail. The engine bay remains in stock configuration, retaining original emissions equipment, air-conditioning components and surrounding decals.
The Carrera benefits from a Summer 2021 inspection and service. This included attention to the brake system and period-correct, new 205/55R16 and 225/50R16 Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires. This was followed by a Porsche Classic Technical Inspection and Certificate performed by Texas’ only Porsche Classic Partner. Recent parts invoices are compiled in a binder. The 911 is tight, an absolute joy to drive and capable of traversing numerus more miles and spirited tours. Now available for worldwide purchase and delivery from our Houston, Texas showroom. Price right, will not last!
