As you can see if the photos & videos, this FJ has gone through a complete top to bottom restoration, and there are very few in this condition not already in private collections. This 1978 FJ is finished impeccably in Mustard Yellow (#532) paint, with the traditional white cab top, and nicely contrasts a superb Saddle brown vinyl interior showing no wear at all. In fact, this all-steel FJ40 has less than 600 miles on it since a thorough restoration was done by world renowned Toyota restoration pros, The FJ Company, a boutique custom car builder specialized in super-high end classic Toyota Land Cruisers & is accented with some nice retro details: 80’s-style mirrors and emblems, the round front grille, and all the bolts, hood latches, and heavy rubber – everything FJ diehards would never do without. The powerplant in this example is a super strong, smooth-running Toyota 2F 4.2L Inline 6-cylinder torque monster and is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. Of course, 4-wheel drive is standard, and now, it’s better than ever! Everything else has been professionally upgraded as well! The front disc brakes, the advanced power steering system, and the “Old Man Emu” suspension to bring this truck up to speed for today’s roads. The interior is a thing of absolute beauty! The Toyota front buckets are finished with a super nice looking Saddle color vinyl that is a nice contrast to the fresh Mustard yellow and black interior paint. Again, no expense spared in this build. The updated, classic instrument cluster retains the originality, while the Vintage Air A/C system and subtle Vintage looking audio is all digital, I-phone & Bluetooth ready. Even the hardware shows as new and there is not a wire out of place!All of this is sitting atop a new set of 15″ Toyota steel wheels that are wrapped with a beefy set of 31″ B.F.
