And when we say nicely restored, this one even comes with a hardcopy book on the restoration, with lots of great photos of the various phases. Nice to have! They literally took it apart, restored it and lovingly put it all back together. If you are looking for a nice one, definitely consider it before it’s gone. FJ43’s are a bit longer, creating a very nice size interior space, with bucket seats upfront and jump seats in the back. The hardtop adds rigidity to the already strong frame & body. And of course, Japanese vehicles have a reputation of high quality and endurance. Many prefer these over Jeep products, for those reasons and because they are not as common. Land Cruiser’s are very capable 4WD vehicles, capable of traversing terrain other vehicles would not dare try. They are rugged full frame design, with heavy-duty driveline components, unlike modern AWD adaptations that only dream of going where this one would- and without the terrific ground clearance this has. The durable 4.2 liter inline-6 makes plenty of horsepower and torque, especially when combined with the manual transmission / transfer case arrangement. Simple mechanical fun that is a blast to drive!
