    1970 Mach 1 Mustang

You are viewing a beautiful Mach 1 that is a fresh build. Super nice with original sheet metal throughout with 118000 original miles.

Please read on for more particulars of the car:

Body/Paint: The body is all original Ford sheet metal. The car is rust free with detailed prep work setting the stage for a great paint and finish. Multiple coats of primer blocked sanded to near perfection. The paint is Ford Candy Apple red available only on a Shelby. The color is just named candy apple red and not what most people think of as a true Candy apple red. The color and tone is more like blood red, not bright red. It the paint was laid down with multiple coats with wet blocking in between each coat. Multiple coats of clear leaving a very flat surface after color sanding. The body and paint is spectacular on this car. Super nice. Shaker hood scoop added along with rear window louvers and spoiler. The car has a great look.

Interior: The interior was redone using sound and heat insulation. It is primarily stock, but seat inserts have leather rather than the stock nylon webbing. Looks really nice and very comfortable. New dash pad and Dakota gauges that look as if they are stock and so much better than stock gauges. The stock gauges go with the car. Custom Bluetooth stereo system. Power steering and brakes.

Running Gear: 351 Cleveland is rebuilt and runs strong. Comp cam, timing chain and lifter. Chrome Edelbrock intake manifold, Edelbrock carb with MSD electronic ignition, chrome water pump. FMX transmission with shift kit and 2600 rpm stall converter. Rear end is stock 9 inch with 325 gears.

    Suspension: Stock restored.

Bright work: Restored or replaced. Looks beautiful.

Glass: Original glass with windshield replaced.

Exhaust: Very nice exhaust, Ceramic coated headers, 2.5 inch pipe with Flow Master mufflers. Sounds awesome.

Brakes: Wilwood disc front brakes with drum rear. Stops well.

Wheels/Tires: Cragar SS wheels 7 inch front and 8 inch rears with BFGs. 215/60 15 front and 245/60 15 rear.

Summary: Super nice car built to drive. Very dependable and shows very good. Don’t miss out on a very nice original body Mach 1. Good ones are hard to find. I have 120 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures. Reasonable price. The car is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Great value and a quality car for the money.
