1970 Ford Galaxie XL convertible 390 engine automatic transmission. New paint and looks absolutely amazing. This is a non-air conditioned car from factory. The convertible top fabric needs to be replaced. It also needs carpet. I drove it home it ran pretty decent. A little less than 10 MI. The convertible top fabric needs to be replaced. It also needs carpet. I drove it home it ran pretty decent. A little less than 10 MI. I was told by the old owner that it’s going to need the carburetor cleaned because you have to put gas in it when it’s cold to start it. He also said that he thought the gas tank will need to be replaced. I have not pulled it to look at it. Maybe even the fuel lines could use replacing. When the car starts up it sounds good but you can smell horrible smelling rotting gas coming from the exhaust after it runs for a few minutes you can hear the valves chattering. After driving it over here I could start it to smell bad gas coming out of the carburetor and it’s not quite running as good as it should it’s having a hard time starting. The only rust I found on the car was right rear passenger floorboard where I think it is fairly normal with convertibles to rust there however they have a piece of sheet metal nicely covering the golf ball size two or three holes that is in there I will take better pictures of it tomorrow but it is very minimal overall. Newer white wall tires. The passenger seat looks pretty nice under the cover but the driver seat on both the bottom and the top will both need to be redone. Under the dash cover there are some cracking nothing too bad. Bucket seats and column shift. Clean title in hand. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 **
