EXTERIOR: Eye popping Torch Red with a white Bumble Bee stripe. The body is mint. No rust or damage, it’s straight and gaps are right. It has the bulges on the hood with the 340 call outs. Factory born color with no vinyl top according to the fender tag. It’s polished smooth and glossy. Door jambs are paintedslick, weatherstris are replaced. Door handles, rear bumper, taillights look new. Correct antenna. Front bumper is a little tarnished, grill is very nice. It rolls on painted rims with poverty hubcaps and BFG tires

There is an aftermarket tachometer on the column. The metal trim is painted slick. Door panels and armrests were replaced. Excellent upholstery and headrests. The headliner is tight, dome light works. Nice carpet on the floor and the best part- a Hurst 4-speed sticking out of the hump.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: These 340s were to be taken seriously. They featured forged crank, hd rods, forged aluminum pistons, 10.5:1 compression, an aggressive cam, dual plane intake and more. The 275 hp rating was actually closer to 325! This one is original vin # matching motor. Rebuilt carb, Pertronix ignition. Correct manifolds, valve covers and air cleaner. The engine bay is clean metal painted gloss red. Fender tag is attached, vin on core support matchesthe car. All the components are restored. It has drums all around, lines and hoses replaced, e-brake is hooked up. New dual exhaust with Dynomax mufflers and correct square tips. New fuel system including the tank, straps, sending unit and lines. Bottom of the motor looks spotless, starter looks new. The matching vin # is stamped right above the oul pan. Vin # matching 4-speed was rebuilt, dual friction clutch. Rebuilt rear end with DoctorDiff 3.55 Sure Grip gears, 30 spline gears and bearings. Pristine floors, rockers, frame rails etc. The entire underbody is painted gloss red.
This is a little firecracker! It looks, sounds and feels like a muscle car. It would cost more than we are asking just to restore one. It’s ready to enjoy immediately, show and go!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car’s condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
