This striking 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 572/620HP Custom is one mean street machine. It’s loaded with many upgrades including new BOZE Forged Lateral-G wheels. As the original trim tag indicates this car was built at the Norwood factory as a 1969 Camaro SS 350 that has an Azure Turquoise exterior and black bucket seat interior. The car was a product of a rotisserie nut and bolt restoration in 2014. It was restored very similar to factory specifications. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased the car in May of 2014 and sent it to a custom shop for a Restomod transformation. MS CLASSIC CARS invested almost $50,000 in the build and sold the car in January of 2015 to a gentleman. Unfortunately, he passed in 2017 and his son called MS CLASSIC CARS to purchase the car back. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased the car in February of 2018. During his time of ownership he only drove the car roughly 300 miles. MS CLASSIC CARS listed the car for sale in August of 2018 and sold it to another gentleman. This gentleman invested a total of $4,176.72 during his time of ownership. He drove the car roughly 1,300 miles and decided to sell the car. MS CLASSIC CARS jumped on the opportunity and purchased it in November of 2021. MS CLASSIC CARS started the service process in January of 2022 and completed in in February of 2022. MS CLASSIC CARS invested a total of $14,549.44 which is documented with an invoice that is included. MS CLASSIC CARS sold this vehicle to an older gentleman who lives in Texas in March of 2022. At the time of sale it had 3,403 miles. After his purchase he had the windows professionally tinted and the entire car ceramic coated. He recently sold his house and is downsizing. With that being said, he decided to sell the car and contacted MS CLASSIC CARS about purchasing it back. MS CLASSIC CARS jumped on the opportunity and purchased it in June of 2022. The exterior of this Camaro is truly striking with its Corvette Stinger hood and beautiful color combination. The body is very nice and the doors close tightly. The hood does bow slightly in the middle which is common with fiberglass hoods. The car was refinished in its original color of Azure Turquoise which looks stunning. It was complimented by black accents on the Stinger hood cowl, hockey stripe, quarter shark fins and rear deck lid single strip. The paint is very nice and has recently professionally ceramic coated and looks amazing! All of the glass and stainless trim was replaced new. All of the glass was recently professionally tinted. Everything else on the exterior was also replaced new including the wiper arms, dual mirrors, front grill, headlights, front bumper, fender trim, rocker moldings, tail lights, rear bumper and emblems. The custom features include a carbon front chin spoiler and 572 fender emblems. The car has a killer stance on new BOZE Forged Lateral-G polished wheels that are 18×8 on the front and 19×9 on the rear. The wheels are wrapped with new Firestone Firehawk Indy tires that are 245-40-18 on the front and 275-35-19 on the rear. This car is total eye candy!
The interior of this Camaro is in excellent condition throughout. It was reupholstered in its original black trim. Everything was restored or replaced including the headliner, sun visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, dash, astro vents, door panels, door hardware, pedals and carpeting. Some of the custom features include Autometer Pro Comp Ultra Lite dash and console gauges, Lokar speedometer cable, 15.5” Budnik Velocity brushed steering wheel, carbon fiber shift bezel trim, Pro Car Pro 90 bucket seats with headrests, front and rear seats and black carpeted SS floor mats. It’s equipped with a hidden windshield wiper conversion kit. It’s also equipped with a custom sound system consisting of a JVC stereo system, four speakers and Infinity amplifier. The trunk compartment was painted and covered with a matching black carpeted mat with SS emblems. This interior is the perfect combination of original and modern!
The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many custom features. The cowl area, smoothed firewall, inner fenders and radiator support was painted in satin black. The hood pivots on aluminum hinges that are very smooth to operate. The inner fenders are also beautiful and have adjustable aluminum fender braces that match the hinges. The car is powered by a GM Performance ZZ572 V8 crate engine that is rated with 620 horsepower and 650 ft.lbs. of torque. The engine is out fitted with a Holley 850 CFM carburetor, Spectra air cleaner, chrome Bowtie valve cover breathers, March Performance serpentine “Style Track” pulley system, Edelbrock Performer fuel pump, Edelbrock Victor water pump, Taylor wires and HP starter. The new black battery has a power disconnect knob for storage. The engine is cooled by a custom Wizard Cooling HD aluminum radiator with two electric fans and aluminum over flow canister. The hoses have custom clamps and separators. The radiator support is decorated with an Undercover Innovations show panel with 572 logos engraved in it. The engine breathes through 3” Dynatech ceramic headers that were custom made for the 572 engine. The headers connect to a 3” Dynatech exhaust system that sounds amazing. It’s equipped with a CPP 400 series power steering box and March Performance power steering pump. The engine is coupled to a custom built 700R4 HD transmission with overdrive. It’s equipped with a 3600 HD stall converter with electric lockup, transmission cooler with electric fan, Lokar dip stick and Lokar linkage. The power is transferred to the rebuilt GM 12-bolt POSI rear end with 3.73 gears. It has a Moser aluminum rear end differential cover. This is one powerful beast!
