This Sunfire Yellow drop-top is part of the 2nd generation of Corvettes often referred to as “Sting Rays.” With ’67 being the final year for the iconic C2 generation of Corvettes, this is truly the last of its breed and one of the most sought-after Corvettes in history. This example came with the potent L79 327 CID V8, producing a stock 350HP. The owner states it’s the original engine and 4-speed manual transmission; however, Gateway Classic Cars is not able to verify or certify this. The 327 is topped by a decidedly non-original Holley 4bbl carburetor, which provides plenty of fuel delivery. Firing up the mighty mouse V8 will set this beast into a lopey burble at idle, but one stomp on the loud pedal and this beast will wail. While you’re enjoying the rowdy 327’s power, you’ll be glad that you’ve got all new disc brakes at all four corners.
