Car History

We have a beautiful restored 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon here at Adventure Classics that was done right with all the right options for you to drive and enjoy for many years.

The 57 is undeniably one of the most recognizable American finned cars of all time and even the wagon is one of the most sought after classic cars on the market today, and will continue to be.

Engine & Drivetrain

Looking under the long hood on the 57 and you will see a modified small block Chevy engine with the block casting number of #3970010 which makes it a 1969-80 350 cubic inch engine with the engine block, heads painted in Chevrolet orange. It has an aluminum performance intake with a FiTech fuel injection system delivering the computer-controlled fuel supply, chrome open element air cleaner, performance tubular headers flowing back to the dual exhaust exiting out under the rear, Edelbrock valve covers in chrome, modified distributor and electronics, air conditioning, 4-wheel disc brakes, and power brakes.

It all sits in a tidy engine compartment and is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission for better cruising speeds and mileage as it rolls on 5-spoke aluminum mag wheels and black sidewall performance tires.

Interior

The gray and black upholstery has a very sharp look as it has twin front bucket seats and matching rear seat, carpeting with floormats, A/C, red steering wheel that matches the original red/aluminum instrument panel that is now filled with the Classic Instrument gauge package, power windows, seatbelts, automatic floor shifter, and a gorgeous cargo bay that’s just too nice to use for hauling anything and fully outfitted with matching carpets.

Exterior

Our wagon is covered it in bright red paint top-to-bottom, using the elegant factory Bel Air stainless trim for contrast down the flanks. The panels are smooth and have a great shine in the sunlight.

This beauty was born to be driven and has the great grille, bumper bullets and hood rockets, emblems, chrome bumpers, and those iconic tail fins.

This Bel Air has had a restoration and has been preserved in its original look, stance, and condition. Great running and driving car. Everything works and drives the way it should have in 1957.
