Of the entire CG line of Imperials most all agree that the Roadster is one of the most elegant and beautiful automobliles built in 1931. And with maybe 10- 12 true CG Roadsters known to exist it’s also one of the rarest as well.
This amazing example of of the very rare CG Roadster was painstakingly crafted with new coachwork by the well known restorer and builder John M Weatley in Tulsa Oklahoma. Based on a true CG Series chassis sourced from a CG Imperial Sedan. Mr. Wheatley attention to detail was well known, and this Roadster is no exception.
This CG Roadster recently came out of long term storage from a very private collector in Washington State. Very few people have seen or knew of its existence. All of its systems have been serviced, fluids changed. It’s gorgeous body and bright work have been painstakingly been polished. It’s cloth top and leather interior are in beautiful condition. And the 384 cubic inch engine runs beautifully.
This amazing example of the CG Roadster is looking for Its next caretaker. Will you be that person?
